How to sew a Knotted Turban Headband | Sewing tutorial

Do you like turban headbands and would you like to have your own? Hair headbands celebrate a great comeback. This year, however, mainly the fabric ones, crossed at the front like a turban. We owe the popularity of turban headbands mainly to the fashion house Gucci, for which they have been a flagship accessory for several seasons. In this video we will show you how you can easily sew a Knotted Turban Headband at home. The whole procedure is very simple and you can have the headband ready in just a few minutes.

 

How to sew a Knotted Turban Headband | Sewing tutorial

 

Dimensions:

Determine the length of the fabric by measuring the circumference of the head from the forehead to the nape of the neck (see the picture) and subtract 5 cm (2″) from the resulting number. For children only 4 cm (1.6″).
The width of the fabric is 16 (6.3″) cm for adults and 14 cm for children (5.5″).

Material:

The ideal material for sewing is a cotton knit.

Sewing:

Sew the headband with an elastic stitch.
